There are two schools in Duggan, a public elementary and a Catholic elementary. Duggan is also located less than 15 minutes south of the University of Alberta.

Duggan is defined by 111th Street to the west, 40th Ave/ the community of Rideau Park to the north, Calgary Trail to the east and 34th Ave to the south. Major thoroughfares such as Calgary Trail and Gateway Boulevard provide a streamlined commute to Central and South Edmonton. The Anthony Henday and Whitemud also offer greater access to the larger capital region. Duggan is also considered highly transit-friendly due to its proximity to the Capital LRT line (Southgate and Century Park Station) and the Century Park Transit Centre.

Did you know? Edmonton’s Capital LRT line expansion will see LRT service extended from Century Park to Desrochers. With a stop planned for the nearby community of Twin Brooks, Duggan residents will be afforded better access to deep Southeast Edmonton.
