Tamarack is a newer neighbourhood located in deep Southeast Edmonton. First established in the early 2000s, Tamarack is known for its modern single-family homes and excellent proximity to amenities. Commuting From Southeast Edmonton

Tamarack is bounded by 17th Street to the west, Whitemud Drive to the north, the community of Maple to the east and 23rd Ave to the south. Ultra-accessible, the community is also defined by the Anthony Henday to the east and south. Whitemud Drive provides a streamlined commute to greater south Edmonton and Sherwood Park.

Transit opportunities are considered extremely good in Tamarack, thanks to the establishment of the Meadows Transit Centre. The neighbourhood is also very walkable, as most shops, services, and amenities can be accessed on foot.
