And, what better way to get out and celebrate the warm weather than to hit up one of Edmonton’s (many) fantastic patios? Here are a few of our favourites.
Craft Beer Market

Did someone say rooftop patio?! Craft Beer Market offers one of the best views around! Located in the city’s downtown core, this family-friendly restaurant and bar delivers impressive scenery, great food, and an unparalleled selection of draft beer (the largest in Canada).
Riverside Bistro

Riverside Bistro is a hidden gem located in the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel, downtown Edmonton. Offering panoramic views of the North Saskatchewan River Valley, the Bistro allows visitors to dine al fresco come snow or shine, thanks to the restaurant’s unique eat-in outdoor igloos.
El Cortez Mexican Kitchen and Tequila Bar

El Cortez is quickly becoming famous for its distinct character and amazing (authentically Mexican) food. Located just off Whyte Ave near the Old Strathcona Farmer’s Market, hungry (and thirsty) visitors to this one-of-a-kind establishment have their pick of not one, not two, but THREE unique patios. The Parlour Italian Kitchen and Bar

Operating under the motto “Those who eat well, live well,” The Parlour specializes in putting a modern spin on traditional Italian fare. Enjoy a custom-made pizza or delicious dolce desert under the twinkling lights of their beautiful, bricked courtyard/patio.

While Bodega boasts three great locations in and around Edmonton, it’s the tapas bar’s Highlands venue that remains best known for its backyard patio. The Black Dog Freehouse

Home to Whyte Ave’s original “Wooftop” patio, the Black Dog features Edmonton’s only 2nd level, full service, garden setting patio. The Black Dog also served residents of Old Strathcona and surrounding neighbourhoods for over 30 years – celebrated for its casual atmosphere, live entertainment and vast selection of local draught.
Vi’s For Pies

Like pies? You’re going to love Vi’s!
