Community Profile 

Parkview was first established at the end of the Second World War, when the demand for single-family homes in Edmonton reached an all-time high. As a result, detached residences account for almost all real estate opportunities within the community – most having been constructed between the mid-1940s and early 1960s.

Covering roughly 155 hectares of open green space, Parkview is considered one of Edmonton’s largest neighbourhoods, encompassing a vast portion of the North Saskatchewan River Valley. Though single-family homes reign supreme in Parkview, the community features a minimal number of low-maintenance townhomes adjacent to the Parkview Park and playground. Nearly all residences within the neighbourhood are owner-occupied.
