Baturyn is an established community located in upper Northwest Edmonton. As part of the greater Castle Downs area, residents of this popular neighbourhood enjoy having convenient access to a long list of amenities, such as schools, shops, services and more. Commuting from Northwest Edmonton

Baturyn is bounded by 122nd Street to the west, the communities of Chambery and Elsinore to the north, 97th Street to the east and Castle Downs Road to the south. Striking the perfect balance between accessibility and semi-seclusion, Baturyn is comprised of a vast network of loops and cul-de-sacs connecting to the area’s main collector roadways.

Major arterial nearby roads include 97th Street (providing a streamlined commute to Yellowhead Trail and Edmonton’s downtown core) and the north Anthony Henday, which offers direct access to St. Albert, north Edmonton and the greater capital region.

While Baturyn remains mostly car-dependent, the community does maintain a few nearby public transportation options. These include several major stops and routes operating throughout the area as well as two major transit centres – Castle Downs Transit Centre and Eaux Claires Transit Centre. Edmonton’s future Metro Line expansion will also see LRT service extended to the neighbouring communities of Beaumaris and Dunluce.
