Magrath Heights is an affluent community located in the heart of Southwest Edmonton. Magrath Heights is bounded by Rabbit Hill Road to the west, 23rd Ave to the north, Whitemud Creek Ravine to the east and the Mactaggart neighbourhood to the south. Though semi-secluded in its location and design, the community sits within short range of several major thoroughfares. Nearby Calgary Trail and Hwy 2 are incredibly convenient for accessing downtown Edmonton and the Edmonton International Airport, while the Anthony Henday provides a streamlined commute to the greater capital region.

Though Magrath Heights is considered primarily car-dependent, some transit is available throughout the area, especially along 23rd Ave.
