Built to mimic a small town within a large city, Terwillegar Towne remains one of the most uniquely designed neighbourhoods in the capital region. Located directly east of the Anthony Henday, Terwillegar Towne is a newer community celebrated for its beautifully crafted homes, endless assortment of amenities and vibrant green spaces – all of which are tucked away within a quiet and comfortable setting.

Did you know? Terwillegar Towne takes its name from Dr. Norman L. Terwillegar, a local surgeon, pioneer and property owner. Terwillegar practiced medicine at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for over 30 years and was president of the Edmonton Academy of Medicine and Canadian Medical Association (AB division).

Semi-secluded yet easily accessible, Terwillegar Towne is defined by Terwillegar Drive/156th Street to the west, 23rd Ave to the north, Rabbit Hill Road to the east and Terwillegar Boulevard to the south. The Anthony Henday also borders the community to the west, allowing easy access to West Edmonton and the greater capital region. Whitemud Drive can be reached in less than 10 minutes via Terwillegar Drive, while nearby Calgary Trail and Gateway Boulevard (Hwy 2) provide a streamlined commute to both downtown and the Edmonton International Airport.

In addition to several transit stops throughout the area, Terwillegar Towne is situated within walking distance of the Leger Transit Centre. Located along Leger Road and 23rd Ave, this transit hub provides service to greater Southwest Edmonton, including the Century Park LRT station.
