Crestwood is an established Edmonton neighbourhood known for its mature trees, diverse real estate options and scenic river valley views (not to mention, Edmonton’s celebrated Candy Cane Lane). Parks and Recreation
Crestwood is flanked by the North Saskatchewan River Valley, thereby providing access to some of the best outdoor spaces Edmonton has to offer. For instance, MacKinnon Ravine Park, which surrounds the community both to the north and east, offers outdoor enthusiasts an array of treelined trails, picnic areas and bike paths. Venturing across the river towards the downtown core, residents can also take advantage of Hawrelak Park, Emily Murphy Park and the Royal Mayfair Golf Club.
The Crestwood Community League (thought to be the oldest community league in Edmonton) also plays an integral role in providing locals with a variety of sports and recreation programs, geared towards members of all ages.
